"Coaching - In a sales oriented role and in a high pressure business, I found myself with phone fatigue, or call reluctance. After some web searches, I found Dawns site, read the testimonials, and "reluctantly", called her. I left our first 2 hour session with an awesome feeling of perspective, control, relaxation and sense of purpose. Many things in my life have improved, the way I think has changed, my focus has changed, and I feel all the better for it. The first session was the foundation. I got way more that session than I had expected. I booked a second session. That second session was even more empowering. We focused on my goals. I have always been a goal setter, though I havnt always shared those goals with anyone. Dawn has a knack of getting you to answer questions you didnt think you knew! To identify these and new goals has been like a "fuel stop" on a long journey. I consider Dawn as my Life Coach and future visits to her are part of my buisiness plan. I highly recommend anybody with fears, phobias, confidence or performance issues, to pick up the phone and call her today." Angus Kirk, Stockbroker & Regional Manager, Fife
" Coaching - I'd like to say thank you for all your help, both this year and at the end of last. Much of my life has changed for the better - and many of the goals I drafted after our first conversation in December 2004 have been achieved, including a promotion at work, to take effect on 1 January!! I've just drafted a new set of goals for this coming year, and I'm sure I'll be using many of the tools you introduced me to in achieving those goals. Particularly helpful was our last conversation, on the inner critic (by my right ear!!), who has largely vanished since then! I may catch up with you on one of the courses I notice you're running next year, but in the meantime, take care." LS, Student Nurse, Edinburgh
" Coaching - What can I say? Dawn takes you from an unresourceful state to a resourceful one which is very empowering. It has left me so intrigued about the process that I will be signing up for her practitioner's course. Don't ask me how it works - it just does!" EY, Finance Manager, Edinburgh
" Coaching - "The most empowering, focussing 2 hours of my life! Every time I think of my goals , I get this immense feeling of power. It was for me time very well spent - thoroughly enjoyed it. Your ability to make me flesh out what I really wanted to achieve and then to point me on the right path and send me off with such energy and focus towards my goal was immense." OP , Mana ger, Edinburgh
" Coaching - I'm actually amazed at how productive the session has been in terms of the effect it has on my attitude to things. I feel that I have a new direction, especially at work where I've forgotten some of my paranoid fears that have hampered me from setting goals that will allow me to progress (there's a new role on a higher grade coming up and I feel that I have more confidence to go for it). I'm also getting on better with my husband, which is great. Previously, I would have thought it was just a phase and expected things to get worse again, but I feel now that I am more conscious of how to keep the good pattern going. What you said about my mood affecting the whole household is so right.. The time planning sheet and goals sheet have been useful. It's helped me to balance the day-to-day humdrum against things that make me happy and that I want to achieve. Thanks for all your help." Anonymous, Edinburgh
" Coaching - I found working with Dawn a very rewarding experience. Not only did we explore and resolve issues that had been clouding my thinking for a great many years, we did it in a fun, forthright manner that was never less than to the point. In addition, the techniques we used were engaging and interesting, and the environment wonderfully supportive. I couldn't recommend her highly enough!" RFM , Actor, Edinburgh
Get yourself out of a rut with Hypnosis/NLP - "After nearly a year and a half of corporate bullying, combined with moving house, family illness, partner going to war, and exams, I was unable to function, to see the bigger picture anymore. My relationships were strained, my sleeping patterns were non-existent, basically my stress levels were so high that I was becoming very unwell. I tried exercise, positive thinking and bored my friends and family to tears by talking and eventually decided that I had had enough of talking and needed to take action. I wasn't sure however, how that action was to come about. I did some searches online for hypnotherapy, thinking that it might do something to help me out of the rut and got in touch with Dawn.
I was really nervous and felt more than a bit daft having never had hypnotherapy before but Dawn put me at ease and walked me through the therapy step by step. She not only carried out hypnotherapy but also introduced me to NLP and EFT and I left the session feeling hopeful that things might change.
The situation itself didn't change, in fact the bullying became significantly worse, however I had changed. I began to take control of my life again, realising that I had the ability to choose, that I had options. It took a few weeks to break the cycle (and only one more session with Dawn) but the seed that Dawn had sown in my confidence in my own ability and freedom to choose began to grow. The senior partner who had bullied me for approximately a year and a half took it upon himself to threaten me, and this time I chose that I was not going to stand for it. I told him so and resigned!
I realised that the only person that could make my choices was in fact me. I feel slightly ridiculous that I actually had a time in my life that I 'forgot' that fact but after meeting many people in similar situations in the months after this turning point, I realised how common it is for us all to get caught up in our lives and before we know it we have become or are on the road to becoming someone that we don't want to be.
It is now 14 months on from my resignation, and I have been running my own business successfully for nearly a year. I am loving my new life (apart from the tax return part!), I am completely in control, I choose who to work with, when and for how much. I don't dread the thought of work - I love it! Meeting new people, helping their health and well being whether it is through the fitness classes that I teach or through the massage and rebalancing therapies.
Dawn will be the first person to tell you that you control your life, and I know that this is true, but without her spark, the fire may never have burned. I cannot recommend Dawn highly enough. Not only is she a fantastic therapist in every sense of the word, she is a wonderful person who is a joy to be with. If you want to get out of your rut, whatever yours may be, get in touch with Dawn and her team - I promise you, its money very, very well spent."
